Cradle Mountain in Tasmania

A short visit of just a few days in Tasmania, Australia’s southernmost state with little but ocean between it and Antarctica, offers a taste of its rugged wilderness – more than half of which is protected as national parks. The island is also renowned for its vibrant festivals, cool-climate wines, and of course the iconic Cradle Mountain trek.
