During my time at Laureate Universities, I often caught myself being frustrated with the UI of their current learning and management system (LMS). I thought that in this day and age it could be done a lot better and I started re-designing the platform in my downtime. It later sparked my transition from a multimedia producer role in their content team to a UX designer role in their digital team.
As far as I’m aware, it has always remained a design only as the digital team was prioritising external websites at the time. Nevertheless, I think that this project still has great potential to improve the digital learning lives of students in the future.
