The first trip in Bali was to Uluwatu, a place in the South-West famous for surfing and the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple built on a tall cliff. The Macaque (locally known as the Balinese long-tailed monkey) likes to steal stuff, like this phone that we witnessed being taken out of a girls hands. It was later ‘saved’ by a local elderly lady who tried to distract the monkey by throwing fruit.
