Equally incredible as the temples of Angkor, is the intelligence of the tiny kids who are trying to sell you stuff.. all speaking almost perfectly English, as little as 6 years old.. learned from tourists. These are some examples:
Girl: Buy or I’ll cry
Me: I have no money
Girl: How can you come here if you have no money
Girl: I have scarf for men
Me: I’m a woman
Girl: I have for woman
Me: I’m a man
Girl: Buy them both
Girl: Buy my scarf, 1 dollar
Me: Buy my camera, 2000 dollar
Girl: If you buy scarf for 3000 I buy your camera for 2000
Me: bye bye
Girl: No bye!
