The Sunday morning that we chose to photograph the sunrise at Mahon pool near Maroubra beach was possibly the shortest night that we could’ve chosen for ourselves. Daylight savings had just started and so to us, the alarm rang at 4.30am instead of 5.30am.
However, it was a beautiful sky and my housemate brought her drone, which she let me fly for a bit for the very first time. So thanks to Morgane (@m.mllat), here is also a view from above under a crisp morning sun.
