My close friend Adrian Schönig and I have been working on a new free-to-download map app for iOS and macOS for the last several years which we are hoping to release as a first public beta very soon.
The app is called Maparoni and it gives you full flexibility and ownership over your map. You can create interesting and useful new map collections yourself or discover and follow others. Our website just went live and you can find it here: https://www.maparoni.app/.
