Sydney CBD from one of the new International Towers in Barangaroo, Sydney, Australia.
While panning and tilting the camera at the end of a long exposure, light from the harbour bridge can be made to flow over the Opera House in Sydney, Australia.
Every year, Sydney turns into one giant fluorescent light bulb. My attempt here was to move the camera to the left after a long exposure to get the light waves from the bridge to flow over the Opera House.
Some smoke was still in the air from the back burning in the Blue Mountains, giving the skyline of Sydney, Australia, a distinctive flare.
A memorable evening, not particularly because it was a nice view that night, which it was.. but more so because it was here that I dropped two of my beloved filters. And they were just out of arms reach balancing on a tiny leaf right above the water. If you see them – and have the tools to grab them – please give them a new home.
