Overview

When I traveled through the north of South East Asia in 2012, I noticed that the more remotely I traveled the more welcome I felt. I just wished I could help the local people more, but at the time I didn’t know how. It changed in 2013, when I had an idea for a reciprocal photo gallery and Fair Photo was born.

Fair Photo’s mission is to protect and conserve our planet through beautiful photography. Photographs from all around the world are sold on high quality print and for each print sold, a part of its profits is sent to a local project or organisation located as close to where the picture was taken as possible. This way, the customer can be assured that whatever is hanging on their wall, is supported in real life too.

Each local project or NGO is visited in person by a Fair Photo representative to ensure their credibility and is extensively documented on the website. Both the photographer and the project can be followed to stay in the loop and never miss a thing.

We’ve launched our public beta www.fairphoto.com largely aimed to register and measure interest.
